????GARROVA PORTER TASTING NOTES????
Garrova Porter was our second beer, made in collaboration with our great friend Kristian from Cerveses Popaire. Inspired by Chocolate Porters, we decided to give it a twist and use carob instead of cocoa. The result is a medium-strength dark beer with a creamy tan foam. The mouthfeel is slightly silky, with predominantly malt flavours reminiscent of coffee and nuts. The carob effectively provides a sweet touch reminiscent of chocolate and balances the bitter flavours of roasted malts. A warm beer ideal for the autumn and winter months, in which it is incredible at room temperature, although accompanying a barbecue in summer is spectacular too.
