On the weekend of October 9 and 10 we were at BeerMad, in Madrid, where we collected the bronze medal in the Specialty IPA category that we were awarded at the International Competition of Craft Beer (CICA).
The winner? Our beloved Blood Moon Red IPA!
We are very pleased to have been recognized in such a highly contested category as Specialty IPA. In a world dominated by IPAs, we are proud that the quality of Blood Moon is recognized, a beer that has conquered many hearts on the island, and that will undoubtedly conquer many more from now on.
Haven’t you tried it yet? Blood Moon is a complex beer, full of nuances. Deep red in colour, fruity flavours from Simcoe, Amarillo and Huell Melon hops balanced with flavours from roasted and caramelized malts. Robust body, with a pleasant bitter finish followed by a sweet aftertaste. An authentic sensory experience.
